7. Consideration and possible Conservancy reauthorization to disburse up to $770,000 to the Northcoast Regional Land Trust to acquire the 77-acre McNamara Dairy, in Orick, California. MORE NEWS ON THE WATSONVILLE WETLANDS PURCHASE:
Land Trust E Update 11/11/08

The Land Trust of Santa Cruz County just announced plans to acquire 500 acres of wetland and farmland just outside Watsonville. The land links two already protected wetlands to create a 900 acre block of protected land at the heart of the Watsonville Slough system - the county's largest freshwater wetland.
