This will connect the Viewridge trail which runs through the Summit Valley park to the north and eventually reaching the much large Topanga State Park

To access this new link, drive east on Mulholland Highway until it turns into a dirt road, and follow it until it ends at a parking area where Mulholland intersects with Santa Maria Road. From here, hike west along the ridgeline to a large water tank. On the map below, the trail is yellow and the water tank is a pale green triangle between the large dark green parcels.
